BIOGRAPHY

After the title of 2004 Italian F3 Champion, Matteo Cressoni is now engaged in the 2014 ELMS Championship (European Le Mans Series) with a Ferrari 458 GT2 of the Team Kessel; Matteo is also the Italian official driver of the English car producer Ginetta, as well as top driver of the Team Nova Race in endurance races with a Ginetta G50 GT4.

Matteo was born in Volta Mantovana, northern Italy. His father Giancarlo, go-kart driver, transmitted his passion to the son. Matteo begun to cultivate an interest in the four wheels at the age of 10 years, driving go-karts in various categories; after a few years, he passed in Formula and Gran Turismo categories, with good results.

Since 2005, in addition to competitions, Matteo became a qualified instructor of the Ferrari official driving school and of the CIGS (Centro Internazionale Guida Sicura) of Andrea De Adamich in collaboration with Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
