NEWSLETTER 11TH APRIL 2019

Matteo Cressoni's debut in the Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship is postponed to the second round on May 19th in Misano Adriatico: the turbine failure at the start of the race yesterday in Monza, in fact, led to the withdrawal of the Ferrari 488 GT3 number 51, effectively depriving the Cressoni/Mann/Nielsen crew of participation in the first race of the Italian championship.

An unexpected failure, after the car had regularly taken part in the qualifications of the previous day without any warning of a possible technical problem.

Matteo Cressoni has thus left the Monza circuit in advance, moving directly to the Paul Ricard circuit of Le Castellet (France) where, after the two days of Official Test, he is already retureds to race-mode in view of the first round of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), which will be held right on the French track in the incoming weekend.

The Italian driver will share the yellow Ferrari 488 GTE no. 66 of the English team JMW Motorsport with the teammates Jeffrey Segal (USA) and Wei Lu (CAN), during the 4 hours of the race that will start on Sunday 14th April at 12:30 (local time); the weekend program and the link for the live streaming are available in the "Live News!" section of this website.
