Matteo Cressoni returns to the track two months after the scary accident at the 24 Hours of Spa where he reported the clavicle and ankle fracture: after the long period of rest and rehabilitation, in the last few days the Italian driver has carried out some karting training sessions to gain confidence in circuit driving.

The sessions, which took place on the Lonato del Garda (Italy) track, confirmed the complete healing of the driver, who will take part in the next Motul 10 Hours Petit Le Mans (October 4th – 7th) in Braselton (Georgia, USA), fourth and last round of the NAEC (North American Endurance Cup) with the teammates Christina Nielsen and Alessandro Balzan: the Italian-Danish crew, currently leading the general ranking with a point of advantage over the Mercedes trio Keating/Bleekemolen/Farnbacher, will drive the no.63 Ferrari 488 GTD in the 10-hour race in the attempt to win the 2017 title.

The timetable of the event includes Free Practice on Thursday 5th October, Qualifying on Friday 6th October (from 4,20pm to 4,35pm – local time – the class GTD) and the Race on Saturday 7th October from 11,05am to 9,05pm (local time). Qualifying and Race will be visible in live streaming at the link available in the “Live News!” section of the website and broadcast live on the US channels Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2.

Fingers crossed and Good Luck Matteo!
